A Letter I Never Sent

There are words I have carried for a long time.

Words I repeated in my head,

but never found the courage,

the timing,

or the right moment to say.

But because sometimes the things that matter the most

are the hardest ones to put into words.

So I wrote them here instead.

Not as a letter meant to be delivered.

Not as a way to change what has already happened.

But as a way of finally giving these feelings somewhere to rest.
